Echo River Ranch welcomes your entire family at the ranch. We also encourage you to extend your stay in this beautiful area.

We also realize that not everyone is as horse crazy as we are. So feel free to drop off part of your family for an enjoyable ride on our horses, while the rest of you visit other nearby sites of human interest and entertainment.

Nolte State Park photo Nolte State Park

Nolte State Park is a day use park just 1/2 mile north of the ranch. It is mostly forested with a 1.4 mile hiking trail around Deep Lake, a public fishing pier, a carry-in boat launch, a covered picnic shelter, and a play and beach area. Discover Pass is required.
~ Horseback riding is prohibited in this park.

Cumberland Store photo Cumberland Convenience Store

Cumberland Store is a small convenience store about a mile north of the ranch. They have a minimal selection of groceries, deli items, lotto tickets, cigarettes, and beer. No vehicle fuels, but the coffee is always hot.

This little store is too small to have its own wesite.

City Hall Saloon photo City Hall Saloon & Eatery

City Hall Saloon & Eatery is about a mile north of the ranch and the destination point of our Lunch/Dinner Rides. Their slogan "we don’t serve fast food, we serve good food as fast as we can". They have a pool table and dart board, offer outdoor dining, and provide live entertainment a few nights a week.

Kanasket Palmer State Park photo Kanasket Palmer State Park

Kanasket Palmer State Park is a camping park about 5 miles north of the ranch. It is 320 acres along the Green River which offers trout fishing, swimming, and expert level rafting & kayaking. The park has developed camp sites, over 3 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, and lots of wildlife.
~ Horseback riding is prohibited in this park.

Krain Corner Inn Restaurant photo Krain Corner Inn Restaurant

Krain Corner Inn Restaurant is about three miles east the ranch and serves up some of the finest home cooking in the State. It is a historical destination and includes a antigue and gift shop. Don't forget to tell them that we recommeded them.

City of Enumclaw photo City of Enumclaw & Expo Center

The City of Enumclaw is six miles south of the ranch. Among the many businesses and services offered in Enumclaw are grocery stores, fueling stations, movie theaters, hardware and feed stores, liquor and wine stores, post office, hotels, and several restaurants. Enumclaw has many year round activities including bike stage races, street fairs, and art exhibits.

Enumclaw also hosts many festivals and events at the nearby old King County Fairgrounds; now called the Enumclaw Expo Center. Some of these events are the Wine & Chocolate Festival, Highlander Games, Creations Festival, and King County Fair.

Federation Forest State Park photo Federation Forest State Park

Forest State Park is another day use park about 20 miles east of the ranch. This park is an old growth forest nestled at the edge of the White River.

Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest

The Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest has several established camps and many trails starting at about 30 miles from the ranch. Many of these trails are open to horse use and also offer primitive camping. Our ranch does offer special arrangement trail rides out of several trailheads in this forest. NWFS pass may be required at some trailheads.

Mount Rainier National Park northeast boundary gate is located about 38 miles east of the ranch. This park has many hiking trails and vehicle access to some parts of the park require an entry fee.

Crystal Mountain Ski Resort photo Crystal Mountain Ski Resort

Crystal Mountain is 42 miles east of the ranch. In addition to year round restaurants and hotel accommodations, there is winter skiing and summer hiking. Just below the resort are two horse camps and our ranch does offer special arrangement trail rides out of these camps, but only during late summer.

Muckleshoot Indian Casino & Bingo

The Muckleshoot Indian Casino & Muckleshoot Indian Casino & Bingo is 12 miles west of the ranch. This casino boasts that it is ’the biggest and best in the Pacific Northwest’ and in addition to gambling, it hosts a variety of restaurant and entertainment venues.
